Meat Balls in Spicy Tomato Gravy


Cooking time: 50 minutes
Serves-6

Ingredients:
Minced Meat - 500 gm( chicken or beef)
Garlic paste- 2tspn
Pepper powder- ½ tspn
Green chillies – 4 chopped
Onion chopped – 3 medium size
Ginger paste – tspn
Garlic paste-1 tspn
Tomato – 2-3
Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder – a small pinch
Extra Virgin olive Oil- 2tblspn
Cloves - 2
Bay leaves - 2
Pepper corns- 2
Curry Leaves -1 stem
Salt to taste
Mint leaves- 2
Coriander leaves-to garnish



Method of Prepraration
Combine the minced meat, pepper powder ,green chillies , garlic paste and salt and mix well in bowl.Keep aside for minimum 30 minutes.

Heat Oil in a pan and add cloves and bay leaves.Add chopped onion to this and sauté for till the onion turns light golden in colour.
Add ginger and garlic paste and chopped tomatoes and all the masala powder.Add the curry leaves and mint leaves and sauté for 10 minutes.Add ½ cup of water and cook in medium heat for 5 minutes.
Make the minced meat mix into small bowls and add to the hot gravy one at a time.Simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with chappatis or plain rice.

Calamari Salad with Sour Cream






Hi Friends,
This is a recipe of quick and easy salad I got from my friend.It takes just a couple of minutes and can always be an extra dish on the party menu.i thought I will share it with my blogger friends.Hope you like it!

Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves- 2
Ingredients:-
Calamari: 1lb- cut into small pieces
Cherry tomatoes-cut in half(half cup)
Yellow bell peppers-1-cut into thin slices
Scallions- 1/2 cup chopped
Pepper- 1/2 tspn
Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese mix- 1/2 cup
Sour Cream- 250ml
Salt as needed






Method of Preparation:-
Boil the calamari in water for 10 minutes in medium heat with salt and paper with the lid on.
In a bowl, add the calamari, grape tomatoes, yellow peppers, scallions, sour cream and cheese and mix well.
Yummy Calamari salad is ready to eat

Pepper Chicken with Bell Peppers


Cooking time : 20 minutes

Serves - 6

Ingredients :-

Chicken - 1 lb, shredded(I used left over chicken pieces from chicken curry.You can also fry chicken separately with little pepper powder, turmeric and salt and then shred the chicken)
Onion - 3 medium sized
Garlic paste- 2 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
Pepper- 1/2 tspn
Green chillies-3
Red Bell peppers- 1-finely chopped
Extra Virgin Olive oil - 2 tblspn
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation :-

1.Heat oil in a pan and the finely chopped onions, green chillies and salt to it. Fry till the onions becomes golden brown in colour.

2.Add garlic paste, turmeric powder, pepper powder and cooked shredded chicken pieces and very little water(only if needed)and saute for 10 minutes in medium flame.Add chopped bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes.
